Cheley Final Weekend

We will sadly not be hosting Final Weekend or other visiting days during 2021.

Final Weekend is a chance for families to spend some time in the beautiful Colorado Rockies and celebrate the accomplishments of their children. The weekend will include a final recognition campfire in each unit, a final chapel service with speeches from selected campers, and some “free time” for families to learn a bit about the Cheley programs from their children. It can be a busy weekend as we try to fit everything into the schedule.

The weekend will start with recognition campfires for our six units at the Land O’Peaks Ranch on Friday night (see schedule). Saturday is a busy day with chapel, lunch, open house, and recognition campfires for BTE and GTE. Our hope is that families find time to enjoy our beautiful playground with their children.

We recognize that many of our families have multiple campers in attendance, and similar to our historic Final Weekend schedule, it is impossible for families to be able to attend everything for all of their campers. Keep in mind that we have many different families and we are trying to accommodate everyone. The open house format will add flexibility for families to attend multiple siblings’ events.

We hope you find some time to connect with your child’s director, a member of the Cheley Family, and other staff members who had a positive impact on the camp experience. All of our staff with be wearing a red staff shirt and should be able to assist you with questions.
